Empowering Caregivers

Firelands Regional

Point Of Care Nursing & Unified Communications

Hi Melanie and Dan,

Thank you for your time yesterday, it was great to see you both virtually. I have attached both the short video here of the POC application running on iOS and the POC document here from MEDITECH. The video would be the same on Android except you would not see the scan button at the bottom of the screen since Android is a purpose-built device.

After our conversation yesterday, it sounds like the primary purpose would be for secure messaging and voice. That said, WorkForce Connect is a GREAT way to tie in Nurse Call, 4-digit and 10-digit dialing, secure texting & messaging, Cisco Voice (jabre), and any other apps you would want to get from the Apple app store or Google Play Store. As we discussed yesterday, I would definitely get POC on the devices, WorkForce Connect pilot, and any other apps the nursing staff would be using so they can see the full value of the devices.

We will be happy to come onsite and talk to the team about the complete workflow about devices within the clinical space and how efficiencies are created. If either of you need ANYTHING, please feel free to use us as a resource – we have been doing this for 27 years with MEDITECH and are happy to jump in wherever we are needed.

 V/r,
